For many would-be and existing property investors, one of the negatives of being a landlord is getting your hands dirty.

When a tenant calls you to tell you they have a blocked toilet, you’re first thought is ‘are you yanking my chain’? You had a lovely morning planned with your family, but this has really thrown a spanner in the works. What can you do to flush this problem away?

There are only really two options now. Do you go for number one or number two?

You could fix the problem yourself but as you’re not much of a plumber, you can’t seem to get a handle on it. You’re a bit poo at this sort of thing. So urine for it now.

Or you could get in a professional, but the last one you used was a bit of a loo-ser. He took a leak rather than fixed one!

The decision just ends up driving you potty and you’d much prefer to just cistern down and forget about it.

Toilet (t)issues can cause landlords no end of problems, but for 2.5 billion people in the developing world, they’ve never even sat on one. And we think this is out of order.

We’d like to help raise awareness of World Toilet Day by asking you to post your best (but hygienic) toilet puns.
