There are more than 10,000 separate Rose Cottages across the country. In fact, ‘rose’ is the most popular love-inspired name for both homes and streets, appearing in 1,303 postcodes and 17,000 house names.
What’s more, love lasts longer if your road has a romantic name. Another survey showed that people live in their homes for a greater period of time if their property has a connection to love. Home really is where the heart is then.
